Hacking

Hacking, trekking or trail riding is our specialty here at East View Riding Centre.

There are many treks and routes that we take both across the Ashdown Forest and within our own private farm land. We also make use of the many pretty bridle paths and lake-land rides during the winter months.

Hacking on the Ashdown Forest is recommended for Intermediate to Advanced riders who can walk, trot & canter independently.

Riders will be escorted around one of our various hacking routes, allowing them to enjoy an exhilarating ride through the breathtaking countryside and woodland areas.

We can take children from the age of 7 years on our very well behaved ponies and horses, we can cater for all levels of riding ability. Its a great way to spend time with the family and a ‘Family Ride’ where both the children and their parents can ride together in a family unit, the kids love this one!
