Experienced Riders
The stables are situated within minutes of the beautiful Ashdown Forest where we take our experienced riders. It is the perfect tranquil setting for trekking amongst the deer and wildlife.
We offer hacks morning, afternoon and evenings (Summer time only) with a number of specialised rides throughout the year. These include 3 hour Bank Holiday hacks.
It takes just minutes to go horse riding in Ashdown Forest from our premises and we hack all year round, rain or shine. Some of the best times to be had are in the rain or snow!
For all those confident in walk, trot and canter, East View Riding Centre offers group hacks of up 10 including an experienced escort at all times. For those wanting that “personal touch” or hacking out for the first few times we offer private hacks. Please call for availability. There is an additional charge for individual groups.
PLEASE NOTE:
All riders wishing to hack on Ashdown Forest with East View Riding Centre MUST be able to WALK/TROT/CANTER in a controlled and balanced manner. (Intermediate to advanced experience)
All new riders to East View Riding Centre who wish to hack in Ashdown Forest or our Private Farm will be asked to complete a form which we will email you should you choose to ride with us. This will be to check riding ability and standard. If the rider does not have adequate experience, we may choose to refuse a ride on Ashdown Forest for your safety, other riders and that of our horses. A suitable alternative hack or a part-refund will be offered.
